I think the key here for the arguments for the null god are not to directly try to convince the full religious believer. The argument portion I think is really to handle the arguments with the rational atheist, or to use debates in the intellectual circuits like you often hear at universities and podcasts.
I specifically DO NOT THINK Arguing is worth doing with a conventional religious person of faith. Most people are not argued into faith, and I don't think they will be argued out of their faith. If logical arguments worked, we would see very few religions in the world.
